I have had messages/emails regarding future photography sessions following lockdown. It was a little confusing as to what photographers could and couldn't do in different Tier systems, and for me, whether I could work in my 'home' studio (I'm excluding commercial studios as it doesn't apply to me). To get confirmation of this, I wrote to the MP, as my insurances could be invalidated if anything went wrong during a session (it never has yet!!). I received a reply in two days, which I thought was pretty good considering what was going on! So, here's what I am able/unable to do:
Tier 3: Unable to undertake sessions in my 'home' studio or client's home.
Able to undertake sessions up to a maximum of 6 (including myself) in a
public local area, with social distancing measures. I will only do these
sessions if absolutely necessary/unable to postpone.
Tier 2: Able to undertake sessions in my 'home' studio (maximum 2 adults, 2
children).
Unable to undertake sessions in client's home.
Able to undertake outdoor sessions up to a maximum of 6 (including myself)
in a public area, with social distancing measures.
Tier 1: Able to undertake sessions in my 'home' studio and client's home.
Able to undertake outdoor sessions up to a maximum of 6 (including myself)
with social distancing measures.
Tier 0: Where we all want to be!
NB: For Tiers 1 and 2, please bring your own food and drink for any sessions
undertaken in my 'home' studio (drinks are usually provided by myself). A
separate bathroom is attached, and hand sanitisers and masks are avaialble.
Gift Vouchers: Any vouchers bought will be honoured/extended to the
amount of weeks we have been in lockdown.
Photo: This is Jerry, my son's hamster - the only alternative, available model in
lockdown. My son is busy, home schooling.
