Two years ago, four ladies set out to compile a chocolate cookbook. Two chocolatiers, an excellent baker, and myself as photographer. It was all Sarah's idea. She was given the all clear following breast cancer and thought there was no better time to do it. Recipes were created, photos taken and inspiration for the themes were developed. There was to be a centre page spread of a children's vintage themed picnic and possibly a 'secret' compartment hidden somewhere within (I can't and won't tell what or where!). If we were ever lucky enough to get published, it had been decided that a percentage of the sales were to go to Breast Cancer charity, once all the formalities were sorted!
However, Sarah's cancer returned, this time in her liver and so the book was put on the back burner whilst she restarted treatment. Sarah continues with her treatment to this day, so I thought I would share a small amount of the photos which were taken, as draft.
I'd like to add, all foods were sampled by myself!!
