I am a lifestyle photographer, based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.  I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, carrying a camera (or these days, mobile phone)  wherever I went and snapping anything I could see!  

 

Since the birth of my own son, (now a teenager!) capturing every minute of his day, I realised that if you blinked, you'd miss it, so taking all of those candid opportunities on camera whilst he was cute and small was worth it as they don't stay that way forever.  He's still cute, but not so small!!!

I like to use as much natural light as possible and this is where I find outdoor sessions come into their own, giving a more fun and relaxed feel.  I have had dogs/pets all of my life and have one dog of my own, so wagging tails are always welcome on outdoor sessions.

I have a passion for the sea and like nothing more than sitting watching/photographing waves.  I find this very calming.  I can often get left behind when my family walk on and I'm shouting 'just one more photo'.  Each wave is, of course, very different.

I have a 'small' home studio, mainly used for single portraits, little ones and/or small families (up to 4 persons, ie parent(s) with child/children) which I use for informal and fun photos when the weather is not so great, or if you prefer that studio look.
